Rules of conduct on the premises of the Galéria Martin shopping centre

Dear customers, allow us to welcome you, on behalf of the Management, to the Galéria Martin shopping centre (hereinafter referred to as the “SC” or the “Centre”). It is our wish that your visit to the SC be a pleasant experience for you as well as for other shoppers. The SC Management monitors and is responsible for compliance with the basic standards of conduct of SC visitors so that its smooth operation is not disrupted and other visitors are not disturbed or harassed while shopping in comfort. In the event of any incidents or breaches of the prohibited activities listed in the points of the SC visitor rules, the SC security service is obliged to intervene immediately against those who breach these prohibitions. The OC Galéria Martin building is private property, and in the building, in the car park and on the adjacent areas it is prohibited to:

1.        Use physical violence, indecent language and gestures, or expressions or other manifestations defaming any race, religion or ethnic group which could lead to disorder or could offend other shoppers.

2.        Carry firearms and other weapons in the building or anywhere on the premises of the Centre.

3.        Physically or verbally threaten any person, provoke fights, spit, disturb others with noise, odour or excessively loud behaviour, follow other customers, or use words and gestures with marked sexual undertones; likewise, any other behaviour that causes disorder and endangers or restricts other customers of the Centre or the business purposes of its establishments is not permitted.

4.        Run, ride roller skates, scooters, skateboards or bicycles inside the Centre, enter the Centre with a bicycle, electric bicycle or electric scooter, obstruct or impede the free passage of customers, obstruct the view of any displayed products, or

gather for the purpose of disturbing public order or committing any unlawful acts.

5.        Drop litter or deposit paper, glass or anything else in the Centre outside the designated waste bins.

6.        Deface, damage or destroy property that forms part of the Centre or that is located in it and belongs to the Centre, its customers or tenants. In the event of damage to property, the Centre management has the right to claim financial compensation for the damage caused.

7.        Write, spray-paint, scratch or create graffiti in any way on the property of the Centre.

8.        Shout, sing, play a musical instrument, play music or use any means of communication that creates noise which disturbs or annoys the public without the prior written consent of the Centre management.

9.        Carry out commercial or non-commercial activities on the premises of the Centre without the prior written consent of the Centre management.

10.     Solicit money or other contributions or donations, or distribute any commercial, advertising or promotional material, or offer samples of products that are sold, given or obtained in exchange for a financial donation or contribution, unless written permission has been issued by the Centre management.

11.     Be not fully dressed, be barefoot, or be dressed in a manner that would offend the public.

12.     Consume alcohol outside the areas specifically reserved for the consumption of alcohol, or enter the SC building under the influence of alcohol, narcotic or psychotropic substances.

13.     Take crockery, cutlery, trays or any other equipment belonging to the food outlets or the food court out of the food court on the 2nd floor of the Centre to a leased unit or elsewhere within the Centre, for any length of time.

14.     Take out and eat leftover food placed in the designated return boxes in the food court on the 2nd floor of the Centre.

15.     Possess, sell or use narcotics, narcotic or psychotropic substances on the premises of the Centre.

16.     SMOKING IS PROHIBITED throughout the entire building!! Smoking is permitted only in areas designated by the owner and the manager of the building.

17.     Sit on flower beds or planters, waste bins, or in places not intended for that purpose.

18.     Damage or interfere with plants and green areas in the Centre, or with the adjacent green areas and terraces.

19.     Enter the building with animals.

20.     Intentionally damage any security equipment, fire protection equipment or fire safety installations in the Centre.

21.     Wash motor vehicles, carry out repairs, offer vehicles for sale, give driving lessons, or park outside opening hours in the car park and on the roads of the Centre.

22.     Remove items from waste containers or litter bins.

23.     Lie down or sleep in the retail area and toilets of the SC.

24.     Sell lottery tickets or organise charity lotteries, carry out sales, or post and distribute leaflets without a valid permit from the Centre management.

25.     Organise demonstrations.

26.     Destroy or damage the toilets in the Centre, throw inappropriate objects into toilet bowls, or waste water and hygiene supplies.

27.     Use consumer fireworks.

28.     Park outside the designated parking spaces for passenger cars; entry to the car park and parking of vehicles weighing over 3.5 t is strictly prohibited.

29.     Furthermore, we ask all employees and visitors of the Centre to take note that:

            – The exterior and interior areas of the Centre are monitored 24 hours a day by a camera system with recording.
    
            – The Centre management reserves the right to refuse access to the Centre premises to anyone who in any way breaches the Rules of conduct set out herein.
    
            – Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to move around the Centre unaccompanied by an adult.
