Galéria Martin

Galéria Martin is a modern shopping centre located right in the historic centre of Martin. Since opening in 2017 it has offered visitors a wide range of goods in more than 50 units. You will find a variety of shops, services, a Billa supermarket and a food court with a diverse choice. The comfort of our visitors is our priority: free Wi-Fi throughout the centre, a charging station for electric cars and a car park on the roof of the building. Thanks to its excellent location, Galéria Martin is easy to reach by car, bus, train or on foot.

What are the opening hours of Galéria Martin?

Shops and cafés are open Monday – Sunday 8:00 – 20:00, the food court (restaurants) 10:00 – 20:00. The BILLA supermarket is open Monday – Saturday 7:00 – 20:00 and on Sunday 8:00 – 20:00.

Is Galéria Martin open on public holidays?

The centre is closed on 1 January, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, 25 and 26 December. It is open on 6 January, Easter Monday, 1 May, 8 May, 5 July, 29 August, 1 September, 15 September, 1 November and 17 November. On 24 December it is open until 12:00 (Billa until 11:00) and on 31 December until 15:00.

How much does parking at Galéria Martin cost?

Monday – Friday the first 2 hours are free (within one calendar day); every additional hour or part of an hour costs €3.50. At weekends parking is free all day. The rooftop car park has 184 spaces and is accessed from the junction of Mudroňova and Daxnerova streets.

How do I pay for parking?

The parking system automatically reads your number plate – you do not get a ticket. You can pay at the payment machines at the entrances from the car park to the centre (escalators, lifts) or by card directly at the barrier when leaving.

Where is Galéria Martin and how do I get there?

Galéria Martin is at Námestie SNP 2, 036 01 Martin, right in the historic centre of the town. You can get here by car, by public transport (stops Nemocnica, Hotel Turiec and Obchodná akadémia), by train (a 5-minute walk from Martin railway station), by bike or on foot.

Gift vouchers worth 10, 20 and 30 EUR are sold at DELIKATESO on the ground floor (Monday – Sunday 9:00 – 20:00) or at the centre management office on working days 9:00 – 16:00. Vouchers are accepted in shops displaying the sticker “Tu akceptujeme darčekové šeky” (gift vouchers accepted here).
